Q: How can I enter my olive oil / table olive to OLIVE JAPAN 2026 International Olive Competition?
Please fill out the online registration form (will be appeared on this website after mid October, 2025) and send it. The confirmation E-mail will sent you and pay the registration fee within 10 days by Credit Card or wired to our bank account.

Winners will be announced after June 12th, 2026 on this website.
Q: Who can enter?
Extra virgin olive oil and/or Table olives produced in the 2025/26 crop year and submitted by individual producers, producers’ associations and authorized distributors may be entered in the competition. The entry products should be the “Commercial” products which had been sold in the market.
Q: Registration Fee – How much does it cost to enter?
The entry fee is Euro 300.00 for each brand/product entered. Payment must be made by Credit Card or bank wire transfer(and you also must pay any bank charges for transfer).
Q: Registration Fee – Early Bird Promotional Discount is applicable?
If ONLINE registration and registration fee payment will be made by November 30th, 2025, The registration fee will be automatically discounted as Euro 250.00 for each brand/product entered.
Q: Registration Fee – What is “Buy 4 get 1 Free” promotion?
The “Buy 4 & Get 1 Free” offer will apply for 5 products registration of same class from the same company that are entered by the same entry form. The fifth products registration fee will be waived. For credit card payment, please put the promotion code as “2026PROMOTIONEURO” and for bank wire payment, please wire the amount as displayed on the entry form as it should be shown already discounted amount.
Q: When should I send my samples?
OLIVE JAPAN had already accepted to receive samples. You can send samples as soon as you have bottled your olive oils / table olives of 2025/26 harvest year. The samples should be arrived no later than May 18, 2026.
Q: How and T0 Where should I send my samples?
Your samples will be received from now and no later than May 18th, 2026. All samples should be packed with the return receipt e-mail of your registration on the inside and the name of the producer marked clearly on the outside.
All sample shipments to JAPAN must be clearly declared as “SAMPLE, NO COMMERCIAL VALUE” “NOT FOR SALE” in the applicable commercial invoices and pro-forma invoice and the packing list attached with the samples.
For the quantities of samples to be shipped, please refer to the “Competition Page” ( https://olivejapan.com/en/competition) Samples must be received before May 18th 2026. OLIVE JAPAN will not pay any customs fees or other shipping charges.

Q: Do I need to be in Tokyo for the competition?
No, but your sample does.
Q: When will the winners be announced?
The contest winners will be unveiled at a press conference and this website on June 12th, 2026. Complete results will be distributed through the international media after June 12th, 2026.
Q: Can I attend the OLIVE JAPAN SHOW event?
Yes, Of course ! “OLIVE JAPAN SHOW” throughout the venue will be open to food industry professionals, aspiring chefs and everyone else. It will be take place in late JUNE 27-28, 2026 at the major hotel banquette hall in central Tokyo.
If you got win any awards in OLIVE JAPAN 2026 and if you have your distributor in Japan, you can exhibit at the Show to sell your products at the venue.

The OLIVE JAPAN International Extra Virgin Olive Oil Competition is judged by a distinguished panel of international experts ever assembled for a contest. The list of the judges are on this website.
Q: Who are the event organizers?
The OLIVE JAPAN International Olive Competition is organized by The Olive Oil Sommelier Association of Japan (OSAJ)- the NGO/NPO, who is quite independent and neutral body from the olive oil / table olive industry. OSAJ was established for purposing to develop the fair and quality oriented olive oil / table olive market in Japan.
