OLIVE JAPAN 2013
OLIVE JAPAN will be a comprehensive open-air event that will bring olive producers and their products together with users and consumers. The OLIVE JAPAN International Extra Virgin Olive Oil Competition will be also held with Marche-Trade Show, Symposium and Seminar events.
- The Venue – FutakoTamagawa is up-scale, but enjoys proximity to major parks and the Tama River with its broad, wide-open banks. For a Tokyo suburb, the area also has a high percentage of green spaces such as smaller parks and tree-lined avenues. Because it is an aspirational area, it is the perfect place to launch an event that brings olives to the Japanese urban life style.
- OLIVE JAPAN will provide precious opportunity to communicate the potential of the Japanese market to international businesses, and support promotional activities to help these businesses expand their presence in Japan.
- Partner with area businesses to develop OLIVE JAPAN into an annual event that will grow with the city.
- The organizer is the Olive Oil Sommelier Association of Japan(OSAJ),
Japan’s sole professional organization for training and certifying olive oil experts, which is independent from any commercial body of the olive and olive oil.
Olive Oil Competition
The OLIVE JAPAN International Extra Virgin Olive Oil Competition is one of the premier olive oil competitions in the world, bringing together the highest standards of integrity and professionalism in awarding medals to the best oils from around the globe.
Olive Marche
In the Olive Marché, the open-air market area, booths will offer not only olive oils from around the world, but also related products for the garden, personal care, and interiors. This is a not-to-be-missed opportunity to reach users and consumers with information, and encourage their interest in all aspects of olive products.
Stage Event
A variety of programs will be presented on the stage in the main venue. Talk shows, cooking and product demonstrations, and workshops will communicate the health and other benefits of olives and some of the many ways we can enjoy them.
Olive Summit – Symposium
The OLIVE JAPAN will also have academic seminars, symposium by world famous Presenters in the industry. (Tickets for the symposium will be available after mid of January, 2013) Besides those seminars, the Trade Seminars by the production countries, major producers and distributors will be also scheduled for the professional people. (The admission for the Trade Seminar will be free.)
